A 15-YEAR-OLD boy has appeared in court and a 13-year-old boy has been charged following an alleged stabbing in Bournemouth.

The Bournemouth boy appeared before Poole magistrates charged with wounding with intent and possession of a knife blade/pointed article in a public place.

He will appear again on Friday December 22.

The younger boy has been charged with possession of a knife blade/pointed article in a public place and is also due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on the same date.

They were charged in relation to an incident at the Pelhams Park area on Milhams Road in Bournemouth at 8.30pm on Saturday December 16.

It was reported that a group of young people were approached by two teenage boys and one of the group sustained serious injuries to his chest and face.
