A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply heroin in the Dorset area.
Merseyside Police detectives investigating serious and organised crime arrested a wanted man on suspicion of firearm and drug offences following an armed containment on an address in Birkenhead just before midnight on Monday, December 18.
The 29-year-old man from Tuebrook was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm after a warrant was carried out at a unit in Studholme Street, Bootle.
On 12 November 2015, a number of firearms were recovered from the location and forensically examined.
The man has been taken to custody for questioning by detectives.
