POLICE have released CCTV images of five potential witnesses they would like to trace after a woman was found dead in the car park of a Westbourne pub.

The 61-year-old was found outside The Westbourne in Poole Road on Monday, December 11.

Police were called at 8.18am by the ambulance service.

The woman’s death is not believed to be suspicious. Police believe the woman died as a result of a fall.

Her next of kin have been informed and the coroner notified.

Detective Inspector Wayne Seymour, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We are currently carrying out enquiries on behalf of the coroner into the circumstances of this woman’s death, which at this time is not believed to be suspicious.

“The enquiries that have been made to date lead me to believe that the woman died as a result of a fall.

“We are now aware the woman had been drinking in the Westbourne pub on the evening of Sunday, December 10. She left the pub at 6.26pm. The people featured in this CCTV appeal left a short time before her.

“I would like to speak to these four men and one woman to establish whether they have any information that could assist my investigation.

"I would like to stress that these five individuals are only being sought as potential witnesses and I am asking for these people pictured or anyone who recognises them to please contact Dorset Police."
