A MAN suffered a stab wound during an incident in Bournemouth.

The incident happened at around 8pm on Monday, December 4, at the junction of Lydford Road and Lydford Gardens.

The victim, a Bournemouth man aged in his 20s, sustained a stab wound to his arm that was inflicted by an unknown weapon.

He attended hospital and was released after treatment.

A search for the offenders was carried out with assistance from the NPAS helicopter, however no one was identified.

The suspects are described as two white men. The first is believed to be around six feet tall with dark hair and the second suspect is thought to be about five feet seven inches tall and had his hood up.

Detective Sergeant Garry Knight, of Bournemouth CID, said: "We continue to investigate this incident and are looking into why this victim was targeted.

“I am appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident, to please contact police.”
