DORSET'S Sunseeker International will notch up a 007 hat-trick as its luxury boats take another starring role in the latest Bond movie.

Casino Royale will be the third Bond movie in succession to feature the Poole-built Sunseekers.

Daniel Craig's first outing as 007 will hit the big screen in Bournemouth on November 15 at a Daily Echo-backed charity premiere.

Five Sunseekers were used during the filming, two of which - an XS2000 and a Predator 108 - will appear in the film.

The Predator 108 was filmed on location in the Bahamas.

Eon Productions also took six weeks to build full-scale mock-ups of a Predator 108 interior for filming at studios in the Czech Republic.

Once created, the film sets were dismantled, transported to Prague and mounted on a giant hydraulic platform to simulate the movement of the sea.

Sunseeker MD Robert Braithwaite said: "As a privately-owned British company and a leading worldwide brand associated with style, luxury and performance, there's a great deal of synergy with the quality and distinction represented by every Bond film."

Sunseeker is poised to expand after new investment and a record-breaking year.

It increased sales to a record £202 million for the year 2005/06 - beating the previous 12 months by more than 18 per cent.

Mr Braithwaite has further increased his majority shareholding.

Sunseeker is already the world's largest privately owned yacht builder and the largest producer of motoryachts longer than 80ft.

Sunseeker exports 99 per cent of its products. The firm employs 1,800 staff at its shipyards and factories in Poole.

  • Tickets for the Echo-backed Casino Royale black tie premiere (November 15, Odeon, Bournemouth) sold out within 48 hours of going on sale.

It has been organised by Bournemouth Round Table, supported by the Daily Echo and Fire 107.6FM, and sponsored by Dorset law firm Ellis Jones.

The event is set to raise more than £15,000 for two charities, the Bournemouth-based Round Table Children's Wish and the Fortune Centre of Riding Therapy at Bransgore.
