THE jury in the Emily Longley murder trial has this morning heard from one of the aspiring model’s friends.

Jasmin Snook, 19, told Winchester Crown Court about Elliot Turner’s “obsessive” behaviour towards Emily in the weeks before she died Speaking softly, Miss Snook told the court she had been introduced to Emily in early April 2011 by Turner.

She told the court Turner became angry after discovering she had arranged to meet another boy and was speaking with other boys on Facebook the week she died.

She described his mood as “obsessive” and added: “He was talking about her constantly.”

Elliot Turner is accused of murdering Emily Longley, 17, on May 7 last year at the family home in Queenswood Avenue in Queens Park, Bournemouth. He is also accused, together with his parents Leigh Turner, 54, and Anita Turner, 51, of perverting the course of justice. All three deny the charges.

The trial continues.
