AFC Bournemouth has been allowed to restart work on its training pitches after reaching an agreement with the Environment Agency and Bournemouth council.
The club was stopped from work in Kings Park last week after Bournemouth council took the club to court because it had broken a planning condition.
The pitches are being built over a former landfill site and there is a risk of methane and carbon dioxide leaks.
AFC Bournemouth said yesterday it had reached necessary agreements.
