THE angry hotelier challenging TripAdvisor for negative online reviews says he has been contacted by several other owners who have had similar experiences.
Ken Robbins, who owns Hotel Celebrity on Gervis Road in Bournemouth, said an online review which compared his hotel to a brothel put his three young children at risk.
He is now taking civil action against TripAdvisor for damages. Ken said: “I had several hotels contact me with similar experiences, including a hotelier I had never met who drove up from Weymouth unannounced as he was very incensed by a very difficult situation he had on TripAdvisor after an ex-employee kept trashing his hotel.”
