A 42-YEAR-OLD mum-of-five had sex with two schoolboys after asking them to smash up a love rival’s car, a court heard.

Davina Travi “rewarded” the 13 and 14-year-old boys for damaging Stacey Allright’s car after her affair with Miss Allright’s partner, Daniel Burgiss, came to an end, Bournemouth Crown Court was told.

Travi, of Rochester Road, Kinson, regularly held parties for children at her home, buying them alcohol and cigarettes and occasionally allowing them to smoke cannabis, a jury was told.

She denies three charges of sexual activity with a child, allegedly committed in April 2010 and involving two boys, who are unrelated to her.

Prosecuting, Stephen Dent told a jury of seven men and five women the boys willingly had sex with Travi but added: “The reason why the age of consent is 16 is to allow a child’s mental development to catch up with their physical development.

“At the age of 13 they have hormones coursing through their veins. They are mentally immature. They are unable to deal with the consequences of having sex.”

The court was told the offences came to light when one of the boys told a social worker at his school. He told how a group of a dozen or so young people used to go to Travi’s house four or five nights a week.

And he said she used to text three question marks when she wanted sex.

He told the social worker he felt disgusted and sick and that he started to hate her, the court was told.

“The school became aware that things like this were going on and contacted other parents to tell them not to let their children go round there” said Mr Dent. “She had already slept with two of them.”

Mr Dent said Travi denied all the allegations when interviewed by police and said she did not have their telephone numbers. Telephone records show contact between Travi and one of the boys on more than 500 occasions, he told the jury.

Mr Dent added: “Towards the end of 2009 and beginning of 2010 Davina Travi’s life got a little bit out of hand – she was treating children like adults and allowing them to drink and smoke in her house.”

He said her “irresponsible attitude towards children” came to a peak when she asked them to damage Miss Allright’s car in return for sex and he said it was “a reward that she should not have given out.”

The trial continues.
