REPAIRS to Bournemouth town centre sewers are set to cause major delays for motorists until the end of this week.
Temporary traffic signals have been erected by Wessex Water while renovation work is carried out at Richmond Hill and St Stephen’s Road.
Wessex Water has warned that major delays are likely with rush-hour drivers likely to be worst affected.
Water supplies will be unaffected.
The company has pledged to keep disruption to a minimum and has apologised for noise generated by plant involved in carrying out “patching repairs.”
Some of the works will take place at night.
The maintenance scheme is set to be completed by Friday.
