THE winners of the ‘Streets of Bournemouth’ competition have been given their prizes at Bournemouth Library.

Hallie Goodchild, four, won the under fives painting and collage category for ‘The Seaside’. Louis Davy, nine, won the five to 10-year-old category for a model of a beach hut.

Jack Peckham-White, 15, won the 11-15 category by suggesting the name ‘Smugglers Rest’ be used for a group of beach huts situated near Alum Chine.

Melissa Law, won the adults category for her ‘Gervis Place by Night’ photograph.

Cllr Ian Lancashire, cabinet member for arts and culture, said: “The range and quality of the submissions were extremely high and I would like to congratulate all of the winners on their achievement.”

The ‘Streets of Bournemouth’ is the town’s online museum.
