FATHER-of-two Michael Darcy, 27, admitted drink-driving at Bournemouth Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
He was caught driving a Ford Mondeo on Poole’s Alder Road at 2.40am on New Year’s Eve.
District Judge Roger House told him that his drink driving record was “appalling.”
He urged Darcy, of Bournemouth Road in Poole, to stick with a course on drinking, and sentenced him to a three year driving ban and a three year conditional discharge.
When asked how he would feel if he ran down a child, Darcy told the judge: “I wouldn’t be able to live with myself.”
