A HUGE mural painted at Bournemouth’s Pokesdown train station has a won a national award.
Urban artist Adam Klodzinzki was commissioned to decorate the Weymouth-bound platform with a work celebrating the area.
The scheme last week won the Community Rail Awards 2011 for Community Arts Scheme 2011, after being submitted by South West Trains.
Adam Klodzinski, known as Soap, is based at Shoot Studio across the road from the station.
The £4,000 mural is based around a winning submission by 14-year-old Avonbourne pupil Louise Gregory.
