FANS are going to be running to the BIC for tickets with the announcement Canadian rocker Bryan Adams is set to play there later this year.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of his triple-platinum selling album Waking Up The Neighbours, the tour includes a date at Bournemouth’s BIC Windsor Hall on Monday December 5.

As Canada’s best-known ambassador, Bryan Adams has spent the past three decades making music history. He has sold more than 65 million records, toured six continents and achieved number one status in more than 40 countries around the world.

Since its release in 1991, Waking Up The Neighbours has sold 16 million copies worldwide, reaching the number one spot in eight countries.

It spawned huge hits such as Can’t Stop This Thing We Started, There Will Never Be Another tonight and the massive number one smash hit (Everything I do) I Do It For You, which remained at the top spot in the UK for 16 consecutive weeks (one of the longest spans in UK Chart History).

After the phenomenal success of his Bare Bones solo-acoustic tour last year, Bryan will be performing at 12 venues in an arena tour of the UK.

He will be performing a set that will honour not only the anniversary of Waking Up The Neighbours but also his impressive back catalogue of anthemic hits including Cuts Like A Knife, Summer of ’69, Kids Wanna Rock, Can’t Stop This Thing We’ve Started, Heaven and Run To You, to name but a few.

Tickets go on sale 9am on Friday April 1, priced £39.50.
