IT’S nothing if not eye-catching. But this Royal Wedding window display at a Highcliffe charity shop is certainly attracting a few glances and raised eyebrows.
The arrangement, dedicated to the impending nuptials of Kate and Wills, is currently adorning the window of the Salvation Army shop in Lymington Road, Highcliffe.
Manager Kim Parrott said: “It’s only been up a week but I’ve had lots of people standing outside taking photographs and others who have come in and said it has made them laugh.
“It’s certainly unusual.
“We had one lady who said she did not think the Queen would wear mustard but that is the only negative comment.
“I think it’s a really great occasion for everyone to get behind. And if this is making people laugh then great.”
The display will remain in the front window until the wedding on Friday April 29.
