A WOMAN has been injured this morning following a two-vehicle crash on the westbound carriageway of the Wessex Way.
Emergency services were scrambled at 8.40 am after a silver Renault Laguna and a yellow Fiat Bravo collided near the Frizzell roundabout.
A Dorset police spokesman said a woman, who was cut free from the wreckage by firefighters, was not believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
The road was partially blocked and there were traffic tailbacks.
The road was re-opened at 11.09am and traffic expected to start to clear.
