HOME studio pop maestro Othello Woolf is due in Bournemouth on Sunday to play 60 Million Postcards with New Young Pony Club.
Widely feted on XFM and in Clash magazine, Othello tinkers with the synth brilliance of Purple Rain-era Prince and adds a Bryan Ferry swoon.
Following the success of debut limited edition single Stand, which sold out within a week, Othello releases double-A-side home studio recording Doorstep/Deep Water on Monday.
Doorstep’s Linn drum sound is decorated with electric piano and guitar frills with a dancehall beat, while Deep Water leans towards dubstep with psychedelic twist.
