MATT Palmer’s Millennium Eagle Jazz Band will be parading its talents for Bournemouth Trad Jazz Club at the Durley Dean Hotel on June 7.
After the John Maddocks/Amy Roberts session all but sold out at the Club’s last meeting, this Crescent City session if expected to keep all those feet tapping aficionados happy and the dancers in fine form.
When Matt Palmer, one of the UK’s leading reed men, took over the reigns of the original Eagle Jazz Band he helped take it to the next level and the band’s diary is one of the busiest in the country.
Matt is joined by Peter Brown (trumpet), Andy Holdorf (trombone), Chris Etherington (banjo), Brian Lawrence (bass) and Jack Cotterill (drums).
Doors are open at 7.15pm and the band goes live from 8pm. Members £8, non-members £9. Further information 01202 870273.
