SANTA Claus, reindeer and other festive activities attracted hundreds of people to a Christmas event for all the family.

Face painting, a Punch and Judy show, and the chance to meet Santa brought more than 1,000 people to the All Inn One bar, in Perry Vale, Forest Hill, on Saturday (December 6).

But the main attraction on the day was three reindeer called Magic, Brown and Echo.

The event was organised by the Forest Hill Traders’ Association and the reindeer were hired for the day from Capralama Farm, in Kent.

Association chairman Michael Davey said: “We do a Christmas event every year and this is the fourth one we’ve done.

“We gave out free packets of sweets to all the children and everyone was kept happy. There was a very good family atmosphere and the weather was fine for a change.”
