WELCOME to the new-look Daily Echo website.

As you can see, the site has had a makeover and you may want to take a look around at some of your old favourites and some new features that we’ve introduced to enhance your online experience.

If you were a registered user of our old site, you will have to re-register - but we hope our new look and added features will make it worthwhile.

One big improvement is the Live Travel panel, on the right-hand-side of the screen. This automatically updated to show how the major traffic routes in the area are flowing and any road, rail, bus, ferry or airport incidents that might affect your journey. It also shows the latest road works.

On the same panel you can see the words What’s On. Click on this and a calendar will appear that displays some of the events happening in the area that day. For a more in-depth look at events that day or in the future - or to add your own event - simply click the links.

The site is now navigated via a menu at the top of the screen and some of the sections have been moved around: The forum is now contained within the Your Say section.

And if you’re a Cherries’ fan you can sign-up for text alerts on match days to keep you bang up-to-date with the game.

All our in-paper deals and competitions are featured under Readers’ Offers.

Snapshots of the Past, Columnists and Your Health are now within Features, which you reach by clicking the News tab at the top of the page.

Please contact us with any problems or queries either by posting your comments below or by sending us an e-mail and we’ll do our best do address them as quickly as possible. We’re looking forward to hearing your feedback.
