TWO urban explorers and content creators found their way through an abandoned building in Bournemouth and revealed the ghostly remains of a former entertainment venue waiting for redevelopment.
Tress Pass South and Abandoned Echoes are two urban exploration and content creation pages which document abandoned, vacant and disused buildings in what is said to be a way of "discovering the past" and "preserving history".
In a recent video, the creators explored what remains of the former Buzz Bingo building, a once-popular entertainment venue in Christchurch Road.
In the post, Tress Pass South said: "The club closed permanently in 2020 following the Covid-19 pandemic and the site was eventually earmarked for redevelopment.
"Even though half of the building had already been demolished, we still managed to explore what remained of this former entertainment landmark and get a glimpse into its past."
The video was posted amid warnings issued earlier this month by Dorset police that have urged people not to put themselves at risk by exploring derelict buildings.
The force said: “Sadly, while such activities may be seen as amusing or thrill-seeking they can end in tragedy and I would urge those involved to stop before somebody is seriously injured or killed."
