"Doing something like collectively lighting up a tree with a personal candle decoration can be a comforting way to honour somebody special.
"Please join us to honour those who’ve touched your life and help bring comfort to others supported by our hospitals."
The evening will include music and readings, along with time for reflection before the tree is illuminated.
Guests are invited to make a dedication and donation, with all funds raised going towards patient care.
Following the event, the candle decorations will be displayed in hospital chapels at Royal Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole hospitals through the new year.
