A CHARITY music night will raise funds for a humanitarian cause overseas.
The event, organised by New Forest for Ukraine, will take place at Bramshaw Village Hall on Friday, September 11, and will feature a tribute to the late Kirsty MacColl by the South Hampshire folk band Kite.
Funds raised will support New Forest for Ukraine’s ongoing work delivering humanitarian aid to those affected by the war in Ukraine.
Organisers said all profits from the event will be donated directly to New Forest for Ukraine.
The charity, which became officially registered in 2024, is run by volunteers.
It collects and delivers humanitarian aid to Ukraine through trusted partners and supports displaced families.
Kite will perform an hour-long set of Kirsty MacColl’s songs.
Ukrainian artist Yaroslava will also take to the stage for a special performance.
Doors open at 7.30 pm, with music from 8 pm to 10.30 pm.
Tickets cost £12.50 and must be purchased in advance, as none will be available on the door.
They can be bought online at tickettailor.com/events/kite1/2370763 or in person with cash at Landford Stores and Post Office on Lyndhurst Road in Landford.
Seating is unreserved.
Soft drinks will be available to purchase, but no alcohol will be sold.
Guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages.
Free parking will be available at the venue.
Neither the performers nor the organisers will receive payment from ticket sales, with proceeds going towards the charity's humanitarian work.
