The restrictions will also prohibit parking on these roads to ensure adequate working space.
While the order will be effective from September 7, and will legally remain for 18 months, the works are expected to conclude by September 16.
Residents and road users needing further details can reach out to Dorset Highways or the Traffic Team.
Separately, Back Lane in Sturminster Marshall will be temporarily shut to all vehicles, cyclists, and horse riders at its northernmost junction with Church Street.
This is to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to perform trenching operations for a new power supply.
The order for Back Lane will also be effective from September 7, with the works pegged for completion by September 18.
As the same with Wimborne Minster, the order will remain legally operational for 18 months.
A diversion route will be available, marked on-site, for the travelling public to bypass the closed section.
In both instances, the orders were enacted under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984.
More information, including updates and specifics of access arrangements, is available on Dorset Council's roadworks and events page online.
Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the notice will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £1,000.
