A pub group has announced a surge in trade across its venues, with record demand for beer, brunch and last-minute countryside escapes.
Butcombe Pubs & Inns, the 118-strong pub and brewery group including several in Dorset, reported strong performance across food, drink and accommodation following the end of the FIFA World Cup.
The company said beer gardens, terraces and courtyards have been filled throughout the season, fuelled by a return to "usual habits" and long, warm days.
Alice Bowyer, managing director at Butcombe Group, said: "In our managed pubs we’ve seen no slowdown at all since the World Cup, in fact, trading has strengthened as guests return to their usual habits.

"It’s been fantastic to see our gardens full again, with a confident, busy, brilliantly summery atmosphere across the estate."
Rising demand for Butcombe’s own beers has been a standout trend.
Underfall, Tall Tales and Butcombe Original topped the pouring charts, with guests choosing "flavour, craft and local character" even in thirty-degree heat.
Spritz drinks also proved popular, led by the Aperol Spritz, with Hugo Gin Spritz and the non-alcoholic Elderflower Spritz close behind.
Accommodation performed strongly, with Butcombe Boutique Inns running at more than 90 per cent occupancy.
Morning trade has also grown, with breakfast and brunch becoming favourites among locals, walkers, cyclists and guests.
Around 65 per cent of Butcombe pubs and inns now open for breakfast or brunch.
