A BURGLAR who broke into a home in Poole while the occupants slept has been jailed for 27 months.
Oakley Coyle, 23, of Bournemouth, entered a property on Longfleet Road in the early hours of Sunday, February 16, 2025, and stole a PlayStation 5, accessories, and two kitchen knives.
The burglary was discovered the following morning when the residents woke up.
Police launched an investigation and found fingerprints on the kitchen door, which identified Coyle as the suspect.

He was arrested and later charged with dwelling burglary.
Coyle pleaded guilty and was sentenced at Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday, August 14, 2026.
Police constable Ted Carlton of Dorset Police said: "Thanks to our enquiries we were able to recover the stolen console and bring the man responsible before the court to face justice.
"Everyone deserves to feel safe in their own home.
"We fully recognise the impact that burglaries have on victims and remain committed to ensuring those responsible are held accountable for their actions."
The stolen PlayStation 5 was found at an address in Poole and has since been returned to the victim.
