Dorset businesses will take centre stage at the Autumn Fair 2026, showcasing the best of the south west’s creativity.

Nearly 40 companies from across the region will exhibit at the Birmingham event, with Dorset brands including Amber Hall Jewellery in Swanage, Bomb Cosmetics, Coastal UK and Pineapple Island in Bournemouth, and Jarapa in Gillingham.

Matthew Mein, event director of Autumn Fair, said: "The south west has a fantastic reputation for creativity, craftsmanship and independent businesses.

"These businesses showcase the extraordinary breadth of the south west's retail community, from family businesses with decades of heritage to emerging brands built around sustainability, ethical production and contemporary design.

"Every year buyers come to Autumn Fair looking for products with authenticity and strong stories behind them, and South West brands consistently deliver exactly that."

The event comes as independent retailers increasingly seek products with distinctive design and compelling backstories.

A recent Voices of Retail report found consumers are drawn to independent retailers for their originality and unique offerings.

For exhibitors, the fair offers a valuable opportunity to connect with buyers from department stores, garden centres, museum shops, and destination retailers.

Autumn Fair 2026 takes place at the NEC Birmingham from September 6 to September 9, featuring more than 1,250 exhibitors, more than 500,000 products, and in excess of 20,000 buyers.
