Neighbourhood officers have made several arrests across the area as part of ongoing summer patrols, as the UK heads into another heatwave.
In Shaftesbury, a man was arrested on suspicion of being involved in the theft of a van, which has since been recovered.
In Springbourne, following information from residents, officers found a vehicle believed to have been stolen.
A suspect fled the scene on foot but was quickly detained by officers and arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft and drug-related offences.
In Swanage, officers conducting Op Nighthawk patrols arrested a man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs after several bags of suspected cocaine were found on him.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "We urge members of the public to continue reporting incidents to us – if we don’t know about it, we can’t tackle it.

Dorset Police continue to carry out patrols across the county throughout the summer to help ensure the safety of both residents and visitors.
