If approved, alcohol sales would be permitted from 9.30am to 9.30pm, seven days a week, starting August 22.

Members of the public have until August 21 to submit written representations.

Submissions can be made to the council's licensing team either by post or by email at licensing@bcpcouncil.gov.uk.

The application may be viewed between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, at the Civic Centre on Bourne Avenue.

Under Section 158 Licensing Act 2003, it is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application.

The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction is unlimited (level 5 on the standard scale).
