Here are the latest planning applications submitted to BCP Council for towns within the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area.

Proposal for home extension in Boscombe

Mount Blairy at 23 St Winifred’s Road has applied to replace its existing conservatory with a single-storey lean-to extension.

Extension and pool basement in Sandbanks

Plans have been submitted for a major home upgrade at 14 Ettrick Road.

The proposal includes a rear and side extension, a basement to house a pool and gym, and a new rear terrace.

Garage link and roof alterations are also part of the scheme.

Single-storey side extension in West Overcliff

An application has been lodged for a single-storey side extension at 3 Falaise, 14 West Overcliff Drive.

Log cabin replacement in Chester Road

At 20 Chester Road, plans have been put forward to replace an existing log cabin with a new garden room.

The project will include associated landscaping works.

New industrial storage building in Poole

Unit 17 on Dawkins Industrial Estate, Dawkins Road, is seeking permission for a new industrial storage building.

The structure would replace existing hardstanding and areas currently used for external storage.

Orangery and accessible decking in Westbourne

Flat 3 at 21 McKinley Road is proposing the replacement of its conservatory with a single-storey rear extension in the form of an orangery.

A 1.2-metre-wide decking, with steps and ramps, will improve access across the garden.

Forecourt improvements in Parr Street

At 19 Parr Street, an existing timber forecourt structure is to be dismantled.

It would be replaced with a new boundary treatment—low brick walls topped with metal railings.

Garage and entrance alterations in New Street

Plans at 8 New Street propose changes to the ground-floor front entrance, including the addition of a new brick support pier.

Part of the garage is to be extended beneath an existing covered area.

Window replacements in Westbourne Court

A submission has been made to replace windows on the rear façade of 92–96 Westbourne Court.

The application covers the three-building address on Poole Road.

Conversion of listed building in Highcliffe

An application has been submitted for listed building consent at 181–185 Lymington Road.

The former restaurant is to be converted into hotel accommodation, requiring internal alterations.

Plans include changes to extensions on the former lodge, demolition of the orangery and conservatory, and a new extension.

The consultation deadline for these applications is August 21.
