A hotel has been awarded the highest rating by the AA, making it the first in Bournemouth to receive five stars in 26 years.
The Nici in Bournemouth is now the only hotel in the area to hold five AA stars, a title last held in the year 2000.
The coastal resort opened in summer 2022 as the first property under The Nici brand and has since been recognised for its resort experience, blending international luxury with a relaxed, coastal vibe.

The inspection praised THE NICI's "resort-style feel" and highlighted its ocean-view rooms and suites, 1 AA Rosette dining, striking interiors, 30-metre heated outdoor pool, and AA-recommended spa.

The Nici’s success is part of a broader expansion plan for the brand, which is rolling out resorts in other UK locations.
The Nici New Forest in Lymington and The Nici Newquay both opened in June, with a new site planned for Southampton’s Town Quay.
