A historic pub has reopened to the public under new management.
The Railway Hotel in Fordingbridge reopened on Wednesday, August 5, under the care of experienced publican Jason Schinkel.
Mr Schinkel said: "We will be open on Wednesdays to Friday from noon, with the kitchen being open from 12-3pm and 5-9pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays, the kitchen will be open from 12-9pm.
"We will be serving a selection of tasty meals and lighter bites to suit all appetites.

"We are focusing on the pub and dining initially, but accommodation will be available to book if people are looking for a place to stay in the Fordingbridge area."
The Railway Hotel will remain closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
The reopening follows a refurbishment by Larasian that took around two years, which has restored the more than 160-year-old building to its former glory.
Built in the 1860s by Dorchester brewer Eldridge Pope, the hotel originally served passengers travelling through Fordingbridge Railway Station.

The Railway Hotel features five newly designed en-suite guest rooms, a self-contained two-bedroom cottage, and accessible guest facilities.
