A chef is teaming up with a cookshop to bring a flavour of Spain to a Dorset food festival next month.
Colm McKavanagh from Wimborne will collaborate with Salamander Cookshop for the Wimborne Food Festival on Saturday, September 19, which will feature a live Spanish cooking demonstration, exclusive promotions, and a special in-store event.
David Crossley, owner of Salamander Cookshop, said: "As an independent cookshop, we’ve been exploring alternatives to traditional non-stick surfaces and stock a wide range of products from major suppliers and artisan producers for customers to see, handle and discuss in-store."
Chef Colm, a former headteacher who trained at White Pepper Culinary School, will present Tricks with Tortilla, a live demonstration in the Dacombes of Wimborne Food Theatre Marquee on Willow Walk.
