A new strategy has been approved to improve the experience of council tenants.
New Forest District Council’s (NFDC) Cabinet approved the Housing Landlord Tenancy Management Strategy on August 5.
The new strategy aims to deliver better services through greater tenant engagement, improved digital support, and increased neighbourhood visibility.
Councillor Steve Davies, portfolio holder for housing and homelessness, said: "This strategy places tenants at the heart of everything we do.

"It sets out how we will continue to listen to tenants, use their feedback to improve services, and provide safe, secure homes in well-managed neighbourhoods.
"And it recognises the importance of supporting our staff so they can deliver consistent, high-quality services for tenants."
Councillor Davies said the strategy would support tenants through the wider changes affecting local government in the area.
He said: "As local government reorganisation progresses, it is important that we have a clear and lasting approach to supporting our tenants.
"This strategy will help create a strong legacy for council housing services in the district, ensuring that the improvements we make now are sustained through the transition to future unitary councils and beyond."
NFDC will carry out regular reviews to ensure the strategy continues to meet tenant needs.
