A fresh take on a cult classic is set to hit the Dorset stage later this year.
A new co-production of Little Shop of Horrors, bringing together Exeter Northcott Theatre, Lighthouse Poole, and Coventry’s Belgrade Theatre, will run at Lighthouse Poole from Tuesday, October 20, to Saturday, October 24.
Starring Scott McClure as Seymour, Leigh Quinn as Audrey, and Dashaun Vegas as Audrey II, the show tells the story of a down-on-his-luck florist who discovers a mysterious plant with a taste for something sinister.
Ross Clifton takes on the role of dentist Orin Scrivello, with Andrew Whitehead cast as Mr Mushnik.
Martin Berry, creative director and joint chief executive of Exeter Northcott Theatre, is directing the production.

Mr Berry said: "Little Shop of Horrors is bold, funny, joyful and unapologetically theatrical – and it allows us to bring together everything we believe theatre can be.

The musical features popular songs, vibrant characters, and a carnivorous plant at its heart.
A community ensemble will appear alongside the professional cast, giving local performers the chance to take part in a mainstage production.
