A seaside adventure has inspired young minds and brought classroom learning to life.
Year 1 pupils from Hill View Primary School in Bournemouth, part of the Reach South Academy Trust, enjoyed a day of exploring Swanage.
Victoria Buckland, headteacher at Hill View Primary School, said: "Our visit to Swanage was a fantastic opportunity for our year 1 pupils to experience learning beyond the classroom.
"From discovering the incredible work of the RNLI to exploring the coastline and expressing their creativity through pebble art, every part of the day helped bring their learning to life.

The visit included a tour of the RNLI Lifeboat Station, where children learned about the vital role of lifeboat crews and had a close look at the rescue equipment used by volunteers.
Pupils also took a walk along Swanage Pier, soaking up coastal views while discussing the marine environment.
To finish the day, children created pebble art using stones from the beach, drawing inspiration from their surroundings.
The trip forms part of the school’s wider curriculum, which aims to provide meaningful, real-world learning experiences.
