A new exhibition will celebrate the talents of young entrepreneurs supported by a charity.
Bournemouth-based charity SAMEE will host the event at Gather in the Dolphin Centre from 10am to 4pm on August 6, which will shine a spotlight on creativity and self-employment success in Poole.
The showcase will feature work by interns on the UK’s first Supported Self-Employment Internship programme—young adults with learning difficulties, long-term health conditions or who are neurodivergent.
Sam Everard MBE, chief executive of SAMEE, said: "The charity’s mission is simple yet powerful: disability does not define potential—opportunity does.

"This exhibition aims to reinforce that message, celebrating talent, challenging perceptions, breaking down barriers and giving young people recognition and confidence."
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the interns, hear their business stories, and browse a diverse range of work including digital artwork, photography, creative writing, branded merchandise, and cupcakes.
Many of the products will be available for purchase on the day.
SAMEE, which stands for Support and Mentoring Enabling Entrepreneurship, is nationally and internationally recognised for creating the UK’s first two-year Supported Self-Employment Internship programme.
The programme offers intensive mentoring, practical training, and hands-on experience for young adults who face barriers to traditional employment.
