Mr Hozan said: "On this island, we bring you the soul of another.
"Ramen Hozan is not only about ramen, it is about memory, warmth, and sharing the spirit of Japanese food culture with the local community.
"We are very pleased to begin this next chapter in Bournemouth.”
According to the owner, the restaurant’s core menu features Kyoto shoyu tonkotsu ramen, Kyoto shoyu chicken paitan ramen, Hakata tonkotsu ramen, Hakata chicken paitan ramen, and Hokkaido rich miso ramen.
Each bowl is crafted with thoughtfully selected noodles, seasoned egg, chashu, bamboo shoots, kikurage, nori and house aromatic oils.

The venue has also confirmed guests can personalise their order by adjusting the noodle texture and broth strength, mirroring the style found in ramen shops across Japan and, all chicken used at Ramen Hozan is Halal-certified.
The shop also offers a range of Japanese comfort foods, including rice bowls, curry, and side dishes, aiming to introduce UK diners to a broader spectrum of everyday Japanese cuisine beyond sushi.
The Bournemouth branch opening follows the development of Ramen Hozan’s location in Watford.
The brand’s symbolic character, Hozan Ichirō, represents a warm-hearted ramen master who travels from Japan to the UK in search of the perfect balance between flavour, people, and story.
The Bournemouth restaurant will be open Monday to Friday from 12pm to 3pm and 5pm to 8pm.
On Saturdays, it will serve customers from 12pm to 9pm, and on Sundays from 12pm to 7pm.
Ramen Hozan confirmed it aims to welcome residents, students, families, and ramen enthusiasts alike, inviting them to experience Japanese hospitality and cuisine on the south coast.
