ALDI has revealed the quietest times to shop at its Dorset stores this summer for a stress-free supermarket experience.

According to in-store data, the calmest hours to shop during the summer break are before 10am and after 8pm on weekdays, with quieter periods also likely later on Saturday evenings.

Julie Ashfield, chief commercial officer at Aldi UK, said: "We know the school holidays can be a busy and expensive time for families, so we want to make shopping as simple and affordable as possible.

"By visiting during quieter periods and making use of Aldi’s everyday value, shoppers can save both time and money this summer."

The supermarket has also offered a range of money-saving tips to help families stretch their budgets further.

Shoppers are encouraged to look out for Aldi’s fortnightly ‘Super 6’ fresh produce offers and to take advantage of ‘red-sticker’ reductions, which can reach up to 75 per cent off on items nearing their best-before date.

Aldi also promotes weekly offers on fresh meat and fish, and recommends using its online meal planner for recipe ideas.

For those planning ahead, details of upcoming Specialbuys are released two weeks in advance through Aldi’s in-store leaflet and website.

As part of its Summer Support Scheme, each day in July and August, one family can win a £50 Aldi voucher.

To enter, residents must email their name and address to SummerSupportScheme@aldi.co.uk.

New parents can also apply for Aldi’s Mamia New Parent Fund by sending a receipt of their latest Mamia nappy purchase to mamiaparentfund@aldi.co.uk for a chance to win a £100 voucher every week.
