A housing development company based in the south west hosted a charity golf day which saw £7,500 raised to support children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

The event, organised by Cavanna Homes in aid of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), brought together colleagues, suppliers, subcontractors and business partners from across the south west for a day of golf and a fundraising auction.

Paul Moran, managing director at Cavanna Homes, said: "We were delighted to welcome so many people to our charity golf day and are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown throughout the event.

"Children's Hospice South West provides invaluable support to families facing some of life's most difficult challenges, and we are proud to be able to contribute towards the fantastic work the charity carries out every day.

"The weather was certainly on our side, which helped make for a brilliant day of golf, networking and fundraising.

"We'd like to thank everyone who attended, donated auction prizes and supported the event."

Children’s Hospice South West currently supports more than 500 families across the region, offering hospice care, palliative care, emergency care and bereavement support for children with life-limiting conditions.

The funds raised will help the charity continue providing these essential services across the south west.
