A new premises licence application aims to bring live music and alcohol sales to a Dorset college restaurant.

Nathan Andrew Paul Mizen has applied for a premises licence for Escoffier Restaurant, located at Bournemouth and Poole College (BPC), Lansdowne, Bournemouth, BH15 3HQ.

The application covers the sale of alcohol from 11.30am to 10pm, Monday to Saturday.

It also seeks permission for live and recorded music, dancing, and sporting events.

Members of the public have until July 13 to submit their comments in writing.

Submissions should be sent to the licensing team at BCP Council, Civic Centre, Bourne Avenue, Bournemouth, BH2 6DY, or by email to licensing@bcpcouncil.gov.uk.

Under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, it is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application.

The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction is unlimited (level 5 on the standard scale).
