Two footpaths in Bournemouth will be closed for 12 days for gas works.
Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council has announced the closure of footpath K39 from Ibbertson Road to Ibbertson Close and the closure of footpath K37 from Ibbertson Way to Barrow Way.
The public footpaths will be closed to all pedestrians to facilitate gas main replacement works by SGN.
The footpath from Ibbertson Way to Barrow Way will be closed from Monday, May 18, to Friday, May 29. A diversion will be in place via Ibbertson Road, Ibbertson Close.
The footpath from Ibbertson Road to Ibbertson Close will be closed from Monday, July 6, to Friday, July 17. A diversion will be in place for this route via Barrow Drive, Barrow Road, Hasting Road and Ibbertson Road
Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
It is possible that these arrangements may be changed or extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations.
