The list of candidates for Bournemouth Town Council has been announced ahead of residents going to the polls in May.
In October 2025, BCP Council voted 34 to 31 in favour of establishing a town council in Bournemouth with with two councillors abstaining.
There will be a total of 21 councillors on Bournemouth Town Council, two councillors will be elected in the wards of Boscombe and Pokesdown, East Cliff ad Springbourne, Kinson, Littledown and Iford, Muscliff and Moordown, Northbourne, Redhill, Wallisdown North and Winton West, Southbourne and Tuckton, Strouden and Queen’s Park, Winton East, Charminster West and Talbot Woods.

Three councillors will be elected to Bournemouth Central, Westbourne and West Cliff.
Residents will be going to the polls to elect members to the new lower tier authority on May 7.
