A new sports partnership is aiming to take netball in the south to the next level.
Bryanston School has teamed up with London Pulse to launch the south and south west's first Netball Centre of Excellence on May 1, 2026.
The programme is designed to help develop young talent and expand opportunities for girls in the south and south west of England.

"This partnership with Bryanston is an exciting step because it creates a genuine high-performance environment in the region which will provide young athletes with outstanding coaching, development opportunities and a route to the elite game."
The collaboration will give Bryanston pupils greater access to elite coaching, performance support and clear progression routes, helping talented athletes develop and stay in the sport.
London Pulse is known for its national netball development programme, including the U15, U17, and U19 academy squads, and its NXT Gen Squad. The organisation operates more than 40 netball hubs and performance development programmes (PDPs) across London, the south east, the south, and internationally in Dubai and Scotland.
Asha Francis, head of netball at Bryanston School, said: "This partnership marks a significant moment for netball at Bryanston.
"Establishing a Netball Centre of Excellence with London Pulse will elevate the daily experience of our pupil-athletes, giving them access to elite expertise, training, and the kind of performance culture that helps players thrive.
"Most importantly, it will empower our players to believe that elite netball is an achievable goal, supported by the right environment and people around them."
The centre will be based within Bryanston’s High-Performance Sports Programme, offering a new netball base in an area without a nearby Netball Super League franchise.
The partnership will also support coach development and give its pupils exposure to professional standards and an elite environment.
The partnership has the shared aim of inspiring and developing the next generation of leading netballers for schools, clubs and beyond.
