Corfe Castle was illuminated in yellow and green as part of Air Ambulance Week.
The landmark joined other notable sites in Dorset and Somerset to show support for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
This event marked the beginning of Air Ambulance Week 2025, which runs from Monday, September 8 to Sunday, September 14.
James Gould, property operations manager at Corfe Castle, said: "Our local communities rely heavily on the emergency response of Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
"The castle will become a beacon of green and yellow to show our support to their vital service."
The initiative aims to raise awareness and funds for the 21 air ambulance charities across the UK.
The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance receives no government funding and relies entirely on public support.
With each mission costing around £3,500, raising awareness is as crucial as raising funds.
Tracy Bartram, communications manager at the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, said: "Air Ambulance Week is a key date in our calendar, as it enables us to raise awareness of our work and remind people that every mission we fly is only possible thanks to public support."
She added that the light-up event will go a long way in helping the air ambulance continue its life-saving missions.
