A next of kin appeal has been issued for a man from Shaftesbury.

Anthony Couty, 77, died at his home address in Glyn Place on Friday, May 2.

The coroner for Dorset states that his death is not being treated as suspicious, and no police investigation is needed.

However, his next of kin has not been located.

Coroner’s officer, Lucy Manuel, said: "We are not treating the death as suspicious, however we have not been able to locate his next of kin.

"If any member of the public has any knowledge of his family members, please contact us as soon as possible on 01202 123900."
