A 'TRADITIONAL London' pie and mash shop will be opening its doors in Poole this weekend.
Champs Pie and Mash, located in Poole Old Town will be opening it's doors to the public on Saturday March 8.
Opened by Warren Roberts, 41, and his partner Megan Hogarth, 36, the traditional pie and mash shop will be taking customers 'back to the East End of London'.
The site is located in High Street, Poole, opposite The Antelope.
Warren said: "We're hoping it will bring a bit more life into Poole Old Town."
After moving from London to Poole with their two kids around seven years ago, the pair constantly thought that the area needed a 'traditional' pie and mash shop, as it was 'always a big thing' in London.
Megan stated that around six months ago they noticed an empty shop in Poole, Warren joked that it should be a pie and mash shop and it's only grown from there.
Offering pie, mash, liquor, jellied eels and chilli vinegar the shop captures all the traditional elements you would see in a London pie shop.

Megan said: "We are aiming to provide the simple and traditional, we are not putting a modern twist on it."
Before this venture into the world of pie and mash, Warren worked in London in the TV and film industry, with Megan working in a café.
After posting the news of their opening onto Facebook, they were met with hundreds of messages from people expressing their excitement.
Megan said: "We didn't expect it quite take off like this, we were amazed.
"It's actually hit home, this could go really well."
The food site will be offering sit in and takeaway options for customers.
For the time being, it will solely be Warren working at the shop, but Megan stated that "if it gets to the stage where we have to employ more people, then that's what we'll be very happy to do".
After their opening, the shop will be open from 11am to 7pm on Tuesdays through to Sundays.
However, Megan stated that there is potential for the site to be open seven days a week if needs be.
Megan said: "We'd love for it to grow and be a big hit down here."
The big goal would be to have multiple locations across Bournemouth and Christchurch as well as Poole.
