RINGWOOD will be transformed into a winter wonderland this weekend.
The Ringwood Winter Wanderland returns on Sunday, December 1.
The festive day features a pack programme of live music, a Santa Parade, Christmas light switch on and more.
Festivities will kick off at 11.30am when Santa makes a grand entrance on his sleigh at Ringwood Gateway.
A Santa’s grotto will then take place between 12noon and 5pm which is a ticketed event.
A Santa Parade will then take place at 5.35pm when people are invited to gather outside the Gateway as he prepares to parade Meeting House Lane at 5.45pm.
Shoppers will be able to buy arts, crafts, food and drink from the festive stalls in the Market Place and high street.
Enjoy traditional Christmas songs between 12pm and 6pm courtesy of the Ringwood and Burley Band.
There will also be live music and entertainment on the stage in the Market Place from 12 noon until 6pm.
Then at 6pm, the Christmas lights will be switched on.
Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson said: “Bring your friends and family to celebrate the start of the festive season.”
