OFFICERS are investigating after an alleged dog attack at a recreation ground.
Dorset Police were alerted to an incident at Winton Recreation Ground at around 9am this morning (October 31).
Now, the report is being sent to the dog warden for investigation.
A spokesperson for the regional force said: “At 9.34am on Thursday 31 October 2024, we received a report from a third party that a dog attacked another dog while being walked by their owner in the area of Winton Recreation Ground in Bournemouth.
“It is reported that the owner of one of the dogs did not stop to provide their details.
“The informant was advised to contact the dog warden regarding this incident as this would be a matter for them.”
