THREE fire engines helped put out a roof fire in Poole.
Crews from three separate fire stations in Bournemouth rushed to Westminster Road in Branksome shortly after 11.30am on Wednesday, October 2.
Smoke was seen pouring out of the top floor balcony before firefighters brought the incident under control.
Nobody was injured during the incident, a spokeswoman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said
She added: “Our crews from Westbourne, Springbourne and Redhill Park responded to reports of a fire which had started in the roof of the building on the timber frame.
“The building was evacuated and upon crews' arrival, they discovered smoke issuing from the top floor balcony.
“Crews made quick work of starting to extinguish the fire using two hose reel jets. Luckily crews managed to extinguish the fire before it spread to the main building and before anyone got injured.”
